Funding and Grants


Students who need funding for the course can request information from the course management at uamtropical@gmail.com about financial bodies that can advance the tuition fee.



A total of 6 grants will be awarded amounting to 50% of the value of tuition (1,800 €). Requests for grants are made in application form for registration. A committee will be formed to decide which students will be awarded grants according to criteria established by the UAM. The scales used for the awarding of grants take into account the following points:

a.Academic record

i             Pass                                 1 point

ii    Good                                 2 points

iii    Outstanding                                 3 points

iv.         Honours                4 points.

b. Resident outside the Community of Madrid      3 points.

c. National of low income country                4 points.

d. Student without income or employment               6 points.
